Hello, and a warm welcome to St Mary's, Mildenhall.
We are a friendly, lively church situated in the heart of Mildenhall. St Mary's Mildenhall is a Grade 1 Listed, large and impressive church, which is more than 800 years. It is the largest church in the Cluster, of historical interest and attracts many visitors.
The Church building is now open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 till 16:00. We welcome people to come and enjoy the peace of God's house and the history of the Church written in its stones and carvings. An informative guidebook is available.
Worship is a mixture of traditional and more informal styles. We welcome people of all ages whether as a visitor or more long term. We meet for worship every Sunday at 11:00 and a radio broadcast of the previous Sunday's main worship Service can be heard at 09:00 on Forest Heath Community radio station 105.3fm. However, the Church is not just about Sundays and we are actively involved in local schools, in our community and offer a range of activities and events at St. Mary's Mildenhall, so please come and get involved.
The nearby Church Cottage Rooms has a meeting room and toilets and kitchen facilities. The Church has a loop-system to aid those with hearing aids and has access for wheelchairs.
